Dove Table – P. Johnson Tailors

NOMI’s Dove tables are just part of the style statement at the studio and showroom of P. Johnson Tailors in Paddington, Sydney.
Patrick and Tamsin Johnson are a couple who take style seriously. After all, it is their business. Tamsin is an interior designer who flys off to LA once a month to work on projects; Patrick is a bespoke gentleman’s tailor, one of only a handful in Australia and most certainly the youngest.

The pair’s new Sydney base for P. Johnson Tailors and Tamsin Johnson Interiors is housed in the former Hogarth Galleries in Paddington, for many decades one of Sydney’s leading dealers in Aboriginal Art.
Art is still a highlight of the refreshed white spaces, now displaying Patrick and Tamsin’s personal collection of contemporary Australian art. “We love to support young contemporary Australian artists,” says Patrick, who originally studied to be a winemaker before his personal attention to sartorial style led him to study fashion in London and train with preeminent English tailor, Robert Emmett.

“It’s a long road for artists and the works provide visual stimulation for our apprentices, which is important for their development, as well as for our clients.”
